Well the judging is done for the GENCON painting contest. My master of blades picked up second place behind a really nice dark sword dark elf. My Orc from Métal Modèle got 1st place in large and also the Best of Show which is simply awesome! Privateer Press results tomorrow! Now sleep to be in shape for 10 hours of classes tomorrow!

Well it's almost done so I should be able to finish today or maybe have a few touch ups at GENCON.

Well I'm leaving in 4 days for GENCON, I am working tomorrow and will most likely spend a good part of tuesday running errands and making sure everything is packed properly. Therefore I highly doubt I would have enough time to complete an entry for the Privateer Press contest on time. Yes I just did the little samurai chick in 2 days but at the same time there wasn't any details. Just nice flowing lines of clothing. Such minis don't really exist with Privateer which are often loaded with details. Well yes some minis are nice and not overloaded but they either don't inspire me or we do not have them in stock right now at the store therefore...

So instead I'll take the time to make sure my classes are well prepared, to rest and maybe start my dreadnought!


Otherwise if you are attending one of my class, PLEASE bring your brushes! I won't have enough spare for everyone and believe me you do not want to use those provided at the event!
