So how do you travel with 76 paint pots, 8 mig productions pigment pots and 4 mig productions weathering products, 1 compressor, 2 airbrushes, 1 airbrush cable, 1 airbrush holder and other
accessories in order to teach classes at Adepticon or GENCON or any other con that want me there? You get a
Hardigg Storm Case! In
my case the im2700.
Here is what it looks like once set up:

So this should allow me to avoid last year's nightmare coming back from Indianapolis. Imagine already being late for your connecting flight and seeing your airbrush suitcase wrapped up in packing
tape because TSA decided to break it open to look inside... AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! No time to investigate to see if the gear survived the trip since I'm already late and since it's a
late night flight if I miss the connection I spend the night in Toronto. NO! So place the case back for cargo after customs and hope for the best... Hopefully nothing bad happened, except for my
case not wanting to close anymore, but I promised myself I would'nt take a chance again.
This also means that now I have only one case for my classes since everything will be in it except my brushes and the figurines so way less troubles!

Today is a good day! Why? Because I finally figured out what I'll be painting for GD Paris! I know that I said I would do a carnifex but the more I look at it while assembling it, the less I feel
like painting it so... I basically spent 3 days going through my bitz box, models, surfing the GW site for inspiration and so on without any success until i hit the Forgeworld page! Who would have
thought that I would be painting a forgeworld model right? So I won't tell you right now what the model in question is. You can all know that I'll be hitting the vehicule category once again with
another small vignette!!!
As for adepticon everything is now set! Plane ticket is booked, hotel is taken care of and my new case to carry my airbrushing supplies arrived so yeah! As for classes there is 3 spots left for the
friday metallic class, 2 for the sunday airbrushing class and still quite a few for the painting female and monster faces classes. Otherwise no progress on the El Torres so far. I am actually
"suffering" from a tendonitis in my right wrist so it makes painting a little awkward... Yes I'm a lefty but it's still weird to hold the mini with the wrist in a bracer...
For those who left comments, please do not post twice. Your comments will not show up until i approve it. Do not worry I am not censoring anybody. If your comments tell me how crappy my work is
I'll let it go. It's simply that for every new post I make I usually get 3-4 comments that are spam... I never thought that spam actually affected comments on blogs but it seems that yes so...
Oh and classes for GENCON 2010 have been submitted so get ready for another 4 days of gaming or in my case painting!!!

So here is the update on the El Torres! The two things left are the metallics and the base which should be, at least for the first one, a real walk in the park... Me overconfident? Nah!

Can't wait to finish it to start working on the Carnifex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for Adepticon the saturday's aibrushing class is now full... there is another one on sunday though!
Oh... and I made the stupid mistake of buying a PS3 and Dragon Age Origin... I have a feeling it won't be good for painting...
Otherwise keep painting!

Hello!
First of all I am sorry that I did not provide any update on my El Torres recently. I am working on it gradually and just need to take a pic... hopefully by the end of the week.
Note that 3 classes offered at Adepticon: weathering, first step and airbrushing, all offered on the saturday are nearly fully booked with 2 places left in each. So if you were interested in one of
these classes you should book it now. There will not be any extra space available on site. I have 20 miniature for each class and I can't include more than 15 persons in seminars for everyone to
see so unless there is some no shows...
Dragon Forge Design is finally offering us cube plinth made of resin!!! Only one size so far, 1", but it is still better than nothing at all. So now you have the easy, simple, cheap and clean way
to display your miniatures on square plinths!!!
1 cube for 4$

or 4 cubes for 15$

To order well it is at the same place as usual:
Dragon Forge Design!!!
Keep painting!
